Ursodeoxycholic Acid (UlidenR) 100mg/tab
Ursodeoxycholic acid
Code: OULID(ULIDEN 100MG/TAB), OBILI(BILIEPAR-300 300MG/CAP)
Indication : Gallstone disolution.
Contraindication : Calcified cholesterol stones, radiopaque stones, or
radiolucent bile pigment stones. Hypersensitivity to bile acids. Patients
with compelling reasons for cholecystectomy including unremitting acute
cholecystitis, cholangitis, biliary obstruction, gallstone pancreatitis or
biliary-gastrointestinal fistula.
Usual Dosage: PO 8-10 mg/kg/d given in 2 or 3 divided doses.
ADR: GI (nausea, vomiting, dyspepsia, abdominal pain, biliary pain,
cholecystitis, constipation, stomatitis, flatulence), Dermatologic (pruritus,
rash, urticaria, dry skin, hair thinning) and other reactions (headache,
fatigue, anxiety, depression, sleep disorder, myalgia, cough, and rhinitis)
