My argument is grounded on the theory of a famous scholar, Maslow. His theory stresses that only when our basic needs are fulfilled can we pursue happiness of higher levels. To meet the demands of the basic needs, such as eating and clothing, money is indispensable. Such examples to support my argument are aboundant. The most common one is the problem of slaves of credit cards in our society. I believe that some of them have no choice but borrow money from banks to sustain their family, failing to notice the high charge of the interest. They may end up wallowing in the fear of being unable to pay back the debt. In contrast, if they had a certain amount of money, they might live a happy life.
