Rookie boy group WEi has announced their official name for fans!
After accepting submissions of ideas for their fan club name, WEi revealed on
November 9 that their fandom will now be known as
RUi.
It was explained on the group’s fan cafe that the name was chosen while
considering the results of a fan vote, with the members making the final
decision. It’s described that “RU” is the 16th of 28 constellations, while
“WE” is the 17th. Just like “RU” illuminates the place that “WE” will
rise to, RUi will shine on and guide WEi.
In addition, the name also stands for “R U I?” (“Are you I?”), meaning
that WEi and RUi are asking the question to confirm that they are each other’
s destiny, or a mirror.

含义
1.'WEi'的'WE'(胃)为二十八宿中第17个星宿, 'RU'(娄)为第16个星宿。其含义是就像
星宿'娄'照亮即将浮现的星宿'胃'一样，RUi也要为WEi增光，并且向高处带动WEi
2. R U I? (Are you I?) 。其含义是WEi和RUi互相问明及确认彼此是相依为命的关系
（或许是像镜子一样的关系）
