以下代PO Mike Fagan ([email protected]). Originally from England, I am a long time resident of Taiwan and have recently acquired both permanent residency status and an open work permit. I am a graduate of the University of Durham in the United Kingdom and a former postgraduate student and research associate at the Edinburgh College of Art and Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh in the United Kingdom. I make my living providing English editing, consultancy and teaching services across a number of businesses in the Tainan and Kaohsiung area, including factory offices and colleges but also a small, family run English school. I have edited export catalogues, advised on product marketing literature, written articles and helped to prepare graduate students to pass the examinations for internationally recognized English language certificates including IELTS, TOEIC, TOEFL and GEPT. Now that I have both permanent residency in Taiwan and an open work permit, I no longer require the employer-dependent work visa. For this reason I am now free to increase the number of part time English teaching, editing and consultancy jobs I hold elsewhere at offices, factories, colleges and universities. --
