SWL thoughts... +eVonne hi everyone, 1/7 marked my last Snow Wolf Lake performance. that day, i was quite emotional, filled with a feeling of achievement for being able to take part in such a great musical production, but at the same time, terribly sad that this journey was coming to an end. i had actually caught a cold, and started to feel the effects of it a day or 2 before the show, so i was really worried it would affect my singing. thankfully, when we went to soundcheck that day, my voice hadn't failed me and i was still able to sing. once the curtain went up and Andrew 老师 started the music, it all seemed to fly by so quickly, from jacky's opening number to 流星下的愿, the sisters' duet, 爱狼说... and before i really realized, the first half was over! the second half seemed to go by quickly too, and 宜珊 and i sat shivering backstage for the beginning of the second half until i had to go onstage, just to be able to hear the others sing and act those familiar scenes for the last time. towards the end of the musical, i started to feel like i was starting to lose control of my emotions! normally, i usually stave off the tears until after 痛恨 is finished, but that night, singing 忏悔 had already started the tears building up. so by the time 阿直 was saying that 阿狼 was dead, i couldn't hold back anymore and the tears started pouring down my face. there was a lot of emotion on the stage that night, and after 抱雪 something happened that hasn't happened even one time during all the times i have performed in SWL... i totally fell while running from under the stage to the stairway (leading up to the dressing area directly backstage) to change clothing for the final scene, scraping the skin off my left knee in 2 places and bruising both my knees in several places... haha, silly me! (however, i am glad to bear these "battle scars" as a temporary reminder of our last Snow Wolf Lake performance =p) then of course, for our last SWL curtain call, i'm pretty sure the majority of us were teary-eyed, both onstage and backstage. the 庆功宴 was probably the most touching one that i have been to, with everyone laughing and taking photos, holding eachother and crying together, with lots of memories from this past year... there was even a wedding, 2 of the dancers from Snow Wolf Lake who have been together since before getting into the SWL team, decided to get married! it's been a really great experience for me, getting to work with these people, touring so many different cities, seeing fans pop up from different places to watch SWL again and again. @-@ thank you all for standing by me, and always giving your support and encouragement!
