标题[问题] Decision-Directed estimators

各位好
最近在下我读paper时
遇见了
"Decision-Directed Estimators"
此类estimator
但不甚了解其定义
经查阅 GoldSmith "Wireless Communication"一书 p165~166
其内容为
"the information symbols output from the demodulator are assumed known"
也就是说在Rx端已知Tx所传的讯号为何
用其收到的之结果来估channl response ?
就像一般所谓的"tranning sequence"??
