Hennessy. : Computer Architecture: A Quantitative Approach 要找入门书 我在2000年时写一篇介绍Computer architecture的文章 现在拿来给大家参考.... 作者 smlin (隔壁的大白猫) 看板 NCTU_CM87 标题 some good books about Computer Arcitecture 时间 Wed Sep 13 17:53:52 2000 ────────────────────────────[←离开] [PgUp] [PgDn] 这是一些在computer Arcitecture中很好的书籍 在台湾的书店大都 找的到... 1.title: COMPUTER ARCHITECTURE A QUANTITATIVE APPROACH 2/E 1996 Author:HENNESSY and Paterson 这本可以说是bible 内容很好.作者不但在学术界很有名 一个在 Stanford 一个在Berkeley 教书 在工业界也分别领导Mips 和Sun 的公司或者当顾问... 2.Title:COMPUTER ARCHITECTURE: PIPELINED AND PARALLEL PROCESSOR DESIGN 1995 Author:FLYNN 这本就是那位分类computing 四种SISD,SIMD,MISD,MIMD在Stanford 任教的flynn所写的 3.Title:ADVANCED COMPUTER ARCHITECTURE PARALLELISM SCALABILITY PROGRAMMABILITY 1993 Author:HWANG Kai 这位作者是应该是华人 台大电机毕业 目前在南加大和香港大学教书.. 在parallel computing 领域比较有研究 这本对不会偏重PC..而是 针对computer比较详细 4.Title:COMPUTER ORGANIZATION AND ARCHITECTURE 5/E 1999 Author:William STALLINGS 这本大概是这些当中最简单的 所以系上之前的课就是用这本 不过这是第五版最新出的 对到PentiumII 甚至 Merced也就是 现在的Itanium 都有简介 5.Title:Superscalar processor design 1992 已绝版 Author:Mike Johnson 这本是AMD的leader写的 是所有microprocessor中最接近 工业界 也是最清楚的 也是最难的 不过可惜已经绝版 -- my webpage: http://www.wretch.cc/album/hsiumin --
