文化研究与批判理论 (Cultural Studies and Critical Theory)

课程目的与简介
本课程关切的重点在於:帮助学生,能藉由阅读多样的、多元的文化研究的理论与案例探
讨文章,训练开启与批判理论与论点的对话,不管是赞成、反对或是修正,甚至是推翻,
而能进一步发展自己独立思考的观点与符合逻辑的批评。另外,也期许学生要开放心胸,
接受不同的跨学科的知识,这也是文化研究的基本精神,不局限於只有一种视野与单一学
科的学习,或是特定主流理论的应用。
课程要求与评分方式
1. 课堂出席与参与讨论的用心程度。(15%)
2.各修课者须针对每周阅读材料摘要报告与回应,上课时缴交须书面报告(1000-2000
字)。(20 %)
3. 课堂导读报告(学期初分组)
*每人针对一、二单元主题作深入的理解并导读。
*因应导读的读本,於课堂中负责提出你/你所观察到的相关特定的现象或文本供课堂讨
论与延伸思考,目的是希望同学能练习如何与课堂所指派的读本对话,并能触类旁通,选
取新的例子,练习培养观点,并建立批判的思考取向。(15%)
4. 期末报告︰发展你有兴趣的研究主题,写一篇期末报告,而此报告必须与课堂所教授
过的理论、概念或范围相关 (8,000-10,000 字)。(50%)
