ABC news 上看到的 TAIPEI, Taiwan (AP) _ Taiwanese generals have questioned an old law requiring them to bow before the portrait of the island's president, a newspaper reported Sunday. Under a law enacted in the 1950s, newly elected President Chen Shui-bian's portrait will be hung in government offices to replace that of retiring President Lee Teng-hui, who led Taiwan for 12 years. Officials will be asked to bow before the portrait at special ceremonies.
