标题[请问] 这是英文常见的倒装句吗？

'In another moment
down went Alice after it, never once considering
how in the world she was to get out again.'
这是<爱丽丝梦游仙境>开头追兔子的情节。
请问其中的" down went Alice after it "就是所谓的倒装句吗？
是否直述句应该是" Alice went down after it"？
为什麽这里要用这种倒装句？ 或是有其他的意义吗？
