Joined by longtime friend and lyricist Yongfeng Chung, fellow Taiwanese musicians, and the Okinawan trio of Tokyo Chuo-Line, the seven-member Sheng-Xiang & Band is a powerful award-winning group that aims to bring attention to environmental issues and the wonders of rural lifestyles. Combining elements of rock into traditional Taiwanese-Hakka music, the group creates an experimental genre that is unique the band. Sheng-Xiang & Band will also be performing with Misa, a fellow Taiwanese-Hakka musician. With her charming voice, her compositions integrates folk, punk rock, psychedelic rock, and even jazz.
