标题[疑问] 省略号与等等

请问：
「省略号（……）」全等於「等等」吗？
只要有「省略号（……）」就不能用「等等」吗？
「省略号（……）」本身就代表许许多多，也是「等」或是「等等」的意思吗？
假如要用「等等」，就不能使用「省略号（……）」吗？
为什麽每本书写的都是「……等等」？
同理：
假如要用「及」就不用再用「，」？
