Wizards F Brown may miss first month of season

RICHMOND, Virginia (Ticker) - Washington Wizards forward Kwame Brown
may miss the first month of the season.
小布朗将错过球季的第一个月。
The first overall pick in the 2001 draft, Brown underwent surgery in
August to repair a fracture in his right foot.
这位 01 年的状元在八月时动手术治疗右脚的骨折。
"The doctors told me I could be practicing full speed by the end of
November," Brown said Tuesday as the Wizards opened training camp at
Virginia Commonwealth University. "I think it will be another six weeks
before I can practice full speed."

The 22-year-old Brown broke the fifth metatarsal bone in his right
foot in a pickup game.

Brown, who struggled his first two seasons after entering the league
right out of high school, posted career highs with 10.9 points and
5.0 rebounds in 2003-04. He made 57 starts and averaged a career-high
30.3 minutes per game.
