Venus Williams might very well leave the Australian Open aside, she again
confirmed via her Carlos Fleming from IMG that she will be playing in Antwerp.
Given her lower ranking right now, Williams received the gold/silver exempt
from the tournament organizers.
Being a two times title holder Venus has fond memories of the Proximus Diamond
Games, a relationship which is mutual as well; it will undoubtedly be a happy
encounter for both parties and also something for the Belgian audience to look
forward to.
Venus is not playing at the Australian Open, because she is hindered by a left
wrist injury.
