星期三.大小威已经在芝加哥完成了他们的第一场麦当劳巡回表演赛 大威以 6-3 6-4顺利胜出 大威在第一盘获胜後.第二盘一度以5*-0大幅度领先 但是小威开始尝试打出return ace.连获得四局後. 大威以四个发球直接得分拿下 小威在赛後并没有提到他的伤势 但是赛前被问到为何带伤仍继续参加时 他的回答是 "芝加哥对我来说是个很特别的地方" (小威1997首度在此击败两位top10球员Seles与Pierce) "我们已经很早就确定参加这项活动.我想我应该完成它" "我希望能跟Venus一起在这个地方推广网球" "这地方已经好几年没有办比赛了. 我很希望这里每年都能够有一项赛事.我可以回忆一下过去" 看了比赛的观众说大威打的不错.但是还没有好到能击败健康状态的Serena 以下是球迷间的一些问答 Hi all, Just got back. It was a great night, Venus won 6-3, 6-4. I kinda suspect that when it was 5-0 in the second set, they figured they'd enlighten the crowd and stretch it, and that's what they did. serena wore her pink country club outfit, venus wore her pink dress which really looks like it was originally white and was thrown in with the dark clothes. i'll let others fill you in, or ask me questions and i shall answer. now, i have a question. would anyone like to buy my press pass? i guess i could get a picture of it, but its a laminated rectangle, that has the Williams Sisters Tour logo, and has a piece of ribbon that is used to put it around your neck. it says press pass on it. its cute, but i'm not that partial to it, and i figured before (or if) i put it on ebay, i would ask around and see if someone wanted it. Please private message me if you are interested. Q: Where any other family members there? Did Serena talk about the injury? What were Serena's serves like? What was the size of the crowd? I suppose people already had their tickets prior to Monday's match. Do you have any pictures of the match? Did Venus play well enough to beat a healthy Serena? A: as for family i could have sworn i saw isha (that's the name of the bigger one, right?) i think she was wearing green and sitting on teh VIP section. no, serena did not talk about the injury. her serves were ok, she hit a few nice ones but with the injury she wasn't going for them. anothing thing is the way they had it set up the baals kept flying out into the audiences, from bouncing so hard on the ground. that wasn't coool at all but of course that's not venus and serena's fault. the people in the front rows should have beenn enjoying being so close to them, but instead had to watch for flying balls lol. the size of the crowd was pretty nice. it was pretty full. but after the 1st set, at each changeover more and more people kept leaving. it was odd. at first i thought it was because they thought they'd play only 1 set, but then i realized that it probably was a combination of it was getting late (the match ended at 9:30pm) and alot of parents with kids or older people were the ones that left. plus the event was on a college campus (mine, in fact) and not a lot of people lived in the area so the drive probably would have taken a few minutes. oh, and to the above poster, no i don't think venus would beat a heathly serena . serena really showed me that even though she's kinda injured, she hit enough nice shots that no one can beat her when shes at the top. its pretty impossible. -- Justine Henin-Hardenne: Serena......... 这场战役已分出了胜负 我不服 怎麽那麽快就要俯首臣服 不能哭 泪水真的撑得很辛苦 放下吧 又觉得事情还没结束 --
