标题[情报] 08年4月有演唱会

Rock Casino Theater(最近曾主办过Boyz 2 Men、Natalie Cole)想邀请
惠妮到他们那边开演唱会,惠妮阵营表示可能时间会是明年四月.
目前RCT的人尚未跟惠妮面对面接触,因为惠妮在八月前要拍摄两只录影带
You all know that I have recently attended concerts at a place in Richmond,
BC called the River Rock Casino Theatre. It is a very intimate theatre hall
that seats 2500 and the acoustics is amazing. I have recently attended
concerts by Boyz II Men, Natalie Cole, Cedric The Entertainer, Dionne Warwick
and in September Gladys Knight and Wynonna in October.
I am very good friends with an employee of River Rock who is actually one of
the ones who sets up promotion meetings with artists' management for possible
concerts. Patti Labelle is currently one of the acts that is on the priority
list. They are trying to get her to come to Vancouver. Add Aretha Franklin to
that list. Apparently, the River Rock Theatre is getting quite the reputation
for its staging and theatre setup.
Anyway, to make a long story even longer. The No.1 artist on their list is
WHITNEY HOUSTON. Her management has DEFINITELY expressed interest. Some of
the things that have been divulged to me are...
- Whitney wants it intimate.
- She wants the audience to not only hear her but see her perform the songs.
- She wants minimal action on stage, no dancers, no fancy staging lights.
- She wants very few band members on her stage.
- She requires no bodyguards barricading the audience from her stage.
- A white baby grand piano with yellow and lavender roses is the requested
centerpiece.
Possible concert date would be in April of 2008.
Now of course, I tried to weasle some more info out of him but he assured me
that Whitney is doing intimate theatre settings. Her management has expressed
that she no longer feels that stadiums will serve the purpose of the "real
Whitney Houston experience". His words not mine. She will play stadiums in
only key markets like Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey but theatres in over
markets.
Last but most definitely not least.... She is unable to meet with River Rock
management until the late August since she will be filming two videos between
now and late August.
