Just because later vehicles like M4 Sherman or Pz.Kpfw. IV used standards of their days does not mean Japanese standards were different. Still discussing things, although given how that’s done with a completely different department (which does its own things and I have trouble knowing what they are doing), I’m not sure how things will turn out.
