Fighting Against the Odds . . . Posted: November 25th, 2008 We have been fighting against the odds and speculations that our team was destined for destruction, but I must admit that we have been playing pretty good basketball lately. Don’t get me wrong, we are not content with our .500 record, but we are moving in the right direction. Coming into this situation, I didn’t have any expectations of what our record would be. Going back to the ACC will always be an exciting game for me, because of all the love the fans show me. Every time I touch the ball they give me a drum roll. Haha!!! It may sound like boos to you, but it reminds me of the moment when something exciting is about to happen and an announcer says, “Drum roll please…” LOL! On a serious note, no matter if you are a Nets fan, Raptors fan, or indifferent, you can’t deny the fact that this was a great game.
