Valencia City, to Host the America’s Cup
Valencia will finally host the famous America's Cup in 2007. The Swiss
organization has chosen the spanish city to host a sports event comparable in
repercussion to a football World Cup or to the Olympic Games and that will
suppose a push to the investments for our city, as the advancement of the
arrival of the AVE train and the enlargement of the airport.
This is an excellent new for all the valencians. The central government
has shown its absolute support to Valencia and has announced that the
investment will be similar to the ones carried out for the Olympic Games in
Barcelona '92 and the Expo of Seville.
