As you know, Lyon will be hosting the World Conference on Veterinary Education next MAY (13th to 15th of May)=> http://www.wcve2011.org/ !! This worldwide event will be the occasion for many vets from around the world to unite ! Some lucky ones will have the chance to join the IVSA-Lyon chapter for a week of activities, and others probably feel very concerned but can't make it to Lyon this time ! Well……here is a chance for you to get involved and represent your school during the WCVE, even from overseas ! We are organizing a big photo exhibition called "Vets Study Everywhere" No competition, nothing to win, only photos of you and your teachers to celebrate the importance and diversity of veterinary education around the world !! Anyone can get involved, just take a picture of something that illustrates " veterinary teaching in your school" and that you are proud of !! Each school can submit a maximum of 2 images related to the subject. To be accepted, the picture must include alltogether : -students(one or more) -teachers(one or more) -your country’s flag (whether it is a real flag, a poster, painted on your face or on an animal !…) The photos can be in full colour, sepia or in black and white and taken with a film or digital camera. (The photos may be edited by the participant. This means that the presentation of the image may be manipulated in colour or composition – montage, collage, retouching, etc. Re-sharpening and correction of the tonal value is also permitted.) Photos can be uploaded online, via the following website http://www.bourgelat.net/vet-study-everywhere/ The high resolution master copies (at least 3 mega pixels/2048x1536 pixel and max size 10Mo) must be in JPEG/JPG/GIF or PNG format; Contributions must have a title and can include a short explanation consisting of a maximum of 300 characters. The closing date is 30 April 2011 So only 2 weeks left!... ;) Please share that information with students from your chapters and from other chapters who might not have received this message ! We want to show everyone how creative young vets can be !! Hope you will surprise us with original pictures ! Let your imagination run wiiiild ! --
