标题[问题] 95年成大外文系英文

Though being of humble origin, I could pass off as a lady of society if I
were equipped so.
Which use of the word "society" below has the same meaning?
A. Fashion shows are big society occasions; female participants enjoy the
chances to show off their wealth by buying a piece of clothing that costs
some hundred thousand dollars.
B. In a democratic society everyone has the right to voice his/her opinions,
but not everyone had learned how to respect others' opinions yet.
C. Mr. Johnson is a member of the Morale Reform Society, but that doesn't
mean he wouldn't take some questionable enjoyments on the sly now and
then.
我想第二句的意思应该是"I could pass off as a lady if I were eqipped of
society."
society是不是带有"社会"的意思
a.社交 b.社会 c.学会,群体
所以是b吗?
