Kevin Love's 53-game double-double streak was snapped by the Warriors Sunday
night as he managed just six points, 12 rebounds and five assists.
It's shocking that Love's remarkable streak ends at the hands of Golden
State's 29th-ranked defense. But his recent knee woes were not really to
blame -- Love played 32.5 minutes and simply missed some shots he normally
makes (1-of-6 from the field, 4-of-6 from the line). It's just a reminder of
how hard it is to double-double every night when you are the focus of the
opponent's defense. Love will start a new streak soon, likely against the
Jazz on Wednesday.
