That's an issue facing Florida Gators fans now that it appears Billy Donovan wants to patch things up following his decision to coach the Orlando Magic. Donovan, introduced as the Magic coach at a news conference last week, almost immediately changed his mind and was allowed to return to the Gators. Forward Joakim Noah, who helped Florida win back-to-back NCAA national championships, said Donovan should be welcomed back by the fans. "Well, they'd better be happy," Noah said. "They got a great coach." Noah was one of four prospects who worked out for the Timberwolves on Wednesday; he is projected as a lottery pick in the NBA draft June 28. Donovan's flip-flop created no hard feelings for Noah, who worked out with Washington center Spencer Hawes, Wisconsin guard Kammron Taylor and Towson guard Greg Neal. "I really appreciate everything he did for me as a player," Noah said. "I really feel like if it wasn't for his teachings, I don't know if I'd be in this position right now. I feel like right now he has so many people coming at him from different directions. Give him his space, and good luck. Regardless of what happens, I love him to death." Donovan's decision to sign with Orlando surprised Noah. "I was 100 percent sure he was definitely going to stay at Florida," Noah said. "But I feel like Orlando definitely gave him a great situation. I'm sure it all happened really fast for him. Regardless of what happens, it's his life, it's his decision. ... I was in a little bit of the same situation last year when I had a big decision to make." Noah could have left Florida last season and perhaps been the No. 1 pick in the draft. Although his decision to return to school for his junior season netted him another national title, it also appears to have cost him in the draft. Noah could be available when the Wolves make their choice at No. 7. "He's a guy that has great size and athletic ability," Wolves coach Randy Wittman said. "He's a freak a little bit in what he can do. He will probably be one of the great runners in our league up and down the floor." Does it matter? Hawes reportedly had the second-highest body fat percentage of the 80 prospects at the NBA's predraft camp last week. But Texas forward Kevin Durant also ranked as the 78th-best athlete, according to the confidential report obtained by the Seattle Times, raising doubts about the relevancy of the information.
