动画版有一集有讲到医师公会的白胡子老头要发执照给他，白拍子博士反对
後来xxooxxoo反正就是黑杰克的医术说服了白拍子，但是结果因为愈期不到
最後还是没有取得资格。
不过这一集里面的黑杰克似乎对拿取执照没有反对就是了。
