※ [本文转录自 Employee 看板 #1I_DmFjz ] 作者: win95se (凤梨王) 看板: Employee 标题: [活动] 占领你工作的地方！ 时间: Thu Feb 13 22:51:56 2014 【连锁企业星巴克 也可以成功组织工会？】占领你工作的地方！& 世界工业劳工（IWW） 简介 你有没有想过，争取更好的劳工待遇，除上街外，也可以工作间里进行吗? 台湾的餐饮及服务业占了很重的比例。服务业的流动性高、就业不稳定、工时长，使得组 织工会的工作格外困难。而类似星巴克Starbucks 这类的连锁服务业的员工又大多为年青 人，亦不易组织。 2012年，占领运动在全世界大大小小的城市发生，展现出全球人民反对现有的资本主义经 济，以及其所造成的贫困、环境破坏以及各种形式的战争，使得全世界1%的人越来越富裕 。占领运动之後不到一年，那些原本占领着公共空间的帐棚已经不见了，但资本主义仍在 运转。让我们不禁想问：到底怎麽样我们才会赢？ 2004年，美国的Starbucks 员工自己成功组织起工会来，并且在这10年间不断透过各种直 接行动、不合作运动来争取权益。这10年间，Starbucks 工会不断壮大，打破我们一直以 来以为Starbucks这类形象中产的连锁企业很难有员工组织工会的印象。 在这个分享活动中，世界工业劳工（Industrial Workers of the World，IWW）成员 Erik Forman会跟大家分享，他在美国的星巴克工会组织经验。透过这样的经验，希望让 所有来参加的人都能够获得启发，组织工作场所的工人，以及如何能够透过组织来痛击资 本主义。活动中也会分享世界工业劳工（IWW）的组织历史、精神理念以及目前的营运状 况，让大家认识这个全球性的工人自主工会。 2014/02/19 晚上七点 中华电信工会（台北市金华街138号） 主办单位：青年劳动九五联盟 讲者：Erik Forman & Christopher Helali ＊现场备有口译人员，进行逐步口译 --- Occupy the Workplace: An Introduction to the IWW In 2012, Occupy camps popped up in cities across the world, demonstrating a new global opposition to the capitalist economic system and the poverty, environmental destruction, and war that it creates in order to enrich the 1%. Less than a year later, the protest camps were gone, but capitalism remained. Many of us wonder- how can we build a movement that can win? In this presentation, IWW organizer Erik Forman will share his experiences building a union in the belly of the capitalist beast- at Starbucks in the Mall of America in the United States. Through this example, participants will learn how to organize on the job, and how we can hit capitalism where it hurts through workplace organizing. Participants will learn about the history, philosophy, and current activities of the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW), a global, revolutionary worker-run union open to all workers.
