标题[讨论] sell的用法?

请问各位先进,
查了sell这个字的用法, 书上都说用主动表被动, 那如果在以下的例句中,
一样不能用被动吗?
这本书被那名销售员以10元卖出.
1. The book sells at the price of $10 by the salseman. (??)
2. The salesman sells the book at the price of $10.
3. The book is sold at the price of $10 by the salesman. (XX)
如果根据书上的说法, 第1和第3句都不能用,只有第2句是对的吗?
sell 这个字如果要搭配某物 "被" 某人卖掉, 是不是只能用第2 句.
