: 请问以上两句中文的英文说法,哪一句比较正确呢?
如果改成主动, 那是不是就正确了呢:
He painted the wall white.
He painted the wall beautiful.
有两个疑问: 1. 为何都是形容词当主词补语, white可以用, 但 beautiful却不可以?
2. 为何不能用被动? (The wall is painted beautiful)?

2F：→ cuylerLin : 而句子省略了in，原句为be painted (in) white. 05/28 15:10
3F：推 winds9958 : 2、形容词没办法修饰动词，所以要用副词 05/29 07:41
