标题[题目] 学校模拟试题

来源是学校里的新多益模拟试题。
题目：
---- a few wealthy people enjoy all the luxuries in life, the majority
of people in that country do not even have enough food to eat.
(A) While
(B) Unless
(C) Such as to
(D) By the time
疑问：
为什麽答案是(C)不是(A)??
解答底下的说明也怪怪的，写说要「表示对比」的连接词，
但下一句又讲表对比的连接词是(A)，(C)是「表结果」!?
感觉好像解答错了..........囧!?
