题目：

(D) attempting
疑问：答案是(C) 看了解答之後我能了解为什麽选(C) 但不懂为什麽(D)不行
我的想法是把"attemping~agreement"当做接在despite後的名词 所以想选(D)
请教这样的想法有何错误 谢谢!!
