独立题内容觉得难以发想吗?
以下跟大家分享我2/25考试30分的独立题音档与逐字稿
并且简单分析一下我是怎麽做到的
题目:(大概是)学生要玩课外活动还是专心读书(亘古的难题)

逐字稿:
Well, I totally agree that students should participate in a lot of
extracurricular activities instead of just focusing on their studies because
it can help them make more friends.
For example, I remembered right after I got into college, I did not participate
in any club activities whatsoever. All I did was studying all day long, so
life was pretty boring, and I was super lonely.
However, after I joined the Classical Guitar Club, everything changed. There,
I met a lot of people who shared the same passion about the classical guitar.
We would practice together, we would analyze the score together, we would go
to concerts together, we would talk about music all day long. So, after just
spending a lot of time together, we became very good friends.
So, life was never dull again.
以上应该都是国中单字以内
用Hemingway app测试大概也在美国学生8-9年级,为什麽能得到高分呢?
因为这样的内容已经有符合Grading rubrics里面要求的Topic development要求
Response is sustained and sufficient to the task. It is generally well
developed and coherent; relationships between ideas are clear (or there is
a clear progression of ideas)
假设你还执着於内容要更好,就不需要了
至於language use方面,满分rubrics的叙述是
The response demonstrates effective use of grammar and vocabulary. It
exhibits a fairly high degree of automaticity with good control of basic and
complex structures (as appropriate). Some minor (or systematic) errors are
noticeable but do not obscure meaning
这里所谓的complex structure,可以把他理解成一方面是比较长的句构.和短的交错使用
这里其实有两个小错,也是没问题的
passio about=>passion for
all I did was studying=>all I did was study (倒装)
Delivery方面,这篇是136 words=>约 181 wpm
我为什麽highlight出来速度呢?
虽说speechrater是把speaking rate当作是fluency下面的一个子项目之一
但我认为,他的影响力可能实际上更大
因为能够到这个语速,代表Delivery其他面向的问题就不大
Generally well-paced flow (fluid expression). Speech is clear. It may include
minor lapses, or minor difficulties with pronunciation or intonation
patterns, which do not affect overall intelligibility.
至於大家在乎的卡顿、改字,影响多大呢?
我只能说,我个人4/21实测的结果(yah,再实验性质的考了一次),
只要上了这个速度,
每题都卡顿1-2次、改字,内容再更混乱一点
还是可以30
所以总而言之,一快遮三丑(?

当然,能做到快又要相对维持正确度要怎麽做?
我个人认为,独立题相对是简单的.因为你可以用Word Bank不变应万变,
并且针对常用句型练到滚瓜烂熟<--这个大家真的少练了

我记得几年前考口说时,不时还是会掉到29分的情况
内容没有比较差,甚至可能更好,但是语速大概在130-140之间而已
但自从看了speech rater相关论文和国外几家老师的讨论
改采提高速度的策略,就(至少这两次)consistently在30
对於其实内容文法都OK、但分数总是上不去的人,非常推荐
有什麽问题,公开课相见,知无不言!(菸)
