FB好读版：https://reurl.cc/Y6LVpl 俯拾皆是的灵感来源—托福独立写作 相对於Integrated writing task考察考生的资讯整合能力，Independent writing task 旨在检视考生批判性思考以及资讯阐发能力；独立写作的题型之提问模式皆以社会议题出 发，考生在命题中二选一或多选一选择自己立论位置，并清楚阐述个人意见。因此一个合 理、优异的作文除了要求逻辑架构清晰之外，也必须具有足够有说服力，始能取得高分。 究竟一篇足够说服力的文章特徵为何？要解答这个问题，不妨先回顾一下独立写作的官方 定义：write an essay based on personal experience or opinion in response to a writing topic.可知，官方对於一篇独立写作的期待通常在考生自身的经验与思维；若希 望文章引人入胜，「生活经验」自然是最为重要的元素。 当考生写文章主体时，首先应将主题句逐一纪录於考场白纸，而这些概念化的立论内容正 是各个段落需要支撑的对象，而支撑的方式相较起单纯以理服人，应改以个人经验为上。 提供个人生活范例的优势： 1.具说服力，快速让读者理解立论基础与内涵。 2.减少句子结构的潜在错误：支持性句子必须有效地连结概念性句子，在不给予生活经 验的情况下则容易偏题。以下为偏题范例： 主题句：I believe that teachers have the obligation to pass on what they have learned. 支撑性句子：Teachers had an experience of advanced education from college. They should not let that advantage become useless. We all learn because we want to become better people that this world needs…… 这里出现了严重松散的连结，We all learn because we want to become better people that this world needs与「教师有义务传授所知」的支持关系极度薄弱，以至於 言之无物，甚至像是一个全新的主题句，而叙述生活经验则较能避开此类错误。 3.考试只有30分钟(包含审题)，若经常练习生活经验可能使用到的句子可以限缩单字的 记忆范围。 以下为生活经验范例： 题目： A friend of yours has received some money and plans use all of it either to go on vacation or to buy a car. Your friend has asked you for advice. Compare your friend's choices and explain one you think your friend should choose. 主体(部分)： Third, owing a car is totally exhausted. From experience, since buying a car, I have had nothing but stress. My car is shabby and is always in need of constant maintenance. Even now, I still worry that my car might break down on the way to work.
