大家好，我是SK2的Rosa， 今天我们来练习换字吧！大家都知道换字很重要，但是通常没办法很随意的 变换字或是句型，今天我们以下面这题为例，练习paraphrase，当你可以练 到自由变换字和句型，就成功罗！ 首先，为什麽要学会换字（paraphrase）呢？TOEFL Official Guide里面有 写5分的高分作文，必须符合以下这点， It displays consistent facility in the use of language, demonstrating syntactic variety, appropriate word choice, and idiomaticity, although it may have minor lexical or grammatical errors. 也就是ETS要看你是否能够在文章里面展现些许变化的能力。 所以变换字以及变换句型是重要的，目的是让评分官知道你单字量和句型不 少。 以这题为例， Do you prefer a job with high salary but easy to lose or a stable job with lower salary? 假如我选的理由分别是money, challenges, reputation，我们可以先用以 下最简单的句型套入三个理由。建议同学先印出来这篇文章，练习写写看， 再看我的解释会更有帮助，并且把句子念出来内化句型。 I focus on ＿＿＿＿, and a job with higher salary but easy to lose can provide me with ＿＿＿＿＿. 像这样， I focus on money, and a job with higher salary but easy to lose can provide me with more money. I focus on challenges, and a job with higher salary but easy to lose can provide me with more challenges. I focus on reputation, and a job with higher salary but easy to lose can provide me with higher reputation. 接着，我们再来练习换动词， I focus on money, and a job with higher salary but easy to lose can provide me with more money. I ＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿ challenges, and a job with higher salary but easy to lose can ＿＿＿＿＿ me more challenges. I ＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿ reputation, and a job with higher salary but easy to lose can ＿＿＿＿＿ me higher reputation. 想得到可以放什麽动词吗？ focus on的相似词有 care about, place emphasis on, be concerned about, 等，而provide...with可以替换成give..., offer, 等。 注意！这些片语是惯用语，所以要用的话就要用对喔！可以记住三种你最常 用的动词、句型，然後考试时内化，就不用花时间去想句型了，也不会冒着 写错的风险。 如此一来，就变成了以下这三句话， I focus on money, and a job with higher salary but easy to lose can provide me with more money. I care about challenges, and a job with higher salary but easy to lose can give me more challenges. I place emphasis on reputation, and a job with higher salary but easy to lose can offer me higher reputation. 这样其实已经够有变化了，不过我们还可以藉由增减字来改变一下三句话。 所谓的增减字，顾名思义即增加或是减少一个字换字或是换句型， 譬如： a job with higher salary but easy to lose = choosing a job with higher salary but easy to lose（增加字） = a job with higher salary but higher risk（减少字） 此外，也可以用刚刚的方法—变换动词，譬如： choose= select= pick 因此，综合运用以上两种方法—增减字以及变换动词，三句话就会变成 I focus on money, and a job with higher salary but easy to lose can provide me with more money. I care about challenges, and choosing a job with higher salary but easy to lose can give me more challenges.
