Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning. 1.因为Gay是不自然的。真正的老美一向排斥不自然的东西，像是眼镜，聚合物和空调。 2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall. 2.因为同志婚姻会鼓励人们变成gay，就好像你跟高个子混久了之後会变高一样。 3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract. 3.因为使同志婚姻合法化将导致社会上出现更多乱象，人们可能会与他们的宠物 　结婚，因为狗在法律上有其地位保障，而且会自己签名。 4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal. 4.因为异性恋婚姻是一项历史悠久的传统。正如女性依然被视为丈夫的资产，黑人与 白人依然不许通婚，而离婚依然是违法的一样。 5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britany Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed. 5.万一通过同志婚姻合法化，异性间的婚姻重要性将被冲淡。这对小甜甜布兰尼那 "持续了55小时的婚姻"其神圣性必然造成重大影响。 6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children. 6.异性间的婚姻是可被允许的，因为他们可以制造新生命。同志恋人，与不孕症患者， 　还有老年人，则不该结婚。因为我们的孤儿院都还空着，而世界上需要更多新生命。 　 7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children. 7.很显然的，被同志父母扶养长大的小孩会变成Gay，正如异性恋父母的孩子们 都是异性恋。 8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America. 8.同志婚姻不被宗教认可。在我们这个神权至上的国家里宗教可是遍布全国的 　真理，同时我们的国家里只有一种宗教。 9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children. 9.在没有一父一母角色分工环境下成长的小孩注定不会成功。因此我们要禁止 　单亲家庭扶养小孩。 10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans. 10.同志婚姻会对"国家的基本组成"-也就是家庭-造成影响。我们可能永远无法接受这 　新的冲击，正如我们无法接受汽车的发明，服务业的兴起和更长的寿命一样。 --
