标题[问题] 请问一个分配的小问题

有一题选择题的某一个选项如下：
The mean of the exponential distribution is the complement of
the mean of the Poisson.
这答案是错的
因为指数的平均数是1/lamda，Poisson的平均数是lamda
所以两者是倒数关系
我的问题是，什麽是：the complement？
只在集合里看到这个字......
在google上也找不到类似的解释
