The Gesture he used didn't look like a "Squeeze" to me, more like a relaxed point. Furthermore, the mannerisms of the affected guards doesn't jive with someone who was force choked. there was no gasping, no heavy breathing, and at the end, the guards simply retreated to the walls they were leaning on.
