It was filled with lowlights and missed opportunities, which could easily be the trending theme for his entire year. Somehow the San Antonio Spurs were still able to mask Green’s less than stellar play with their outstanding year, but we can still ask what could have been if Green did produce as expected. Danny Green想在2015-16赛季取得成功是无庸置疑的。但许多的低光跟放枪，俨然 已经是他上季表现的缩影。尽管马刺把Green低潮的表现掩盖得很好也打出了很棒 的一年，但是若是Green能打出他的身手的话又是怎麽样的光景呢？ If we are being honest, Green was uncharacteristically bad from the three-point line. His 33.2 percent three point shooting was only second worst to his rookie performance for the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2009, where he shot an abysmal 27.3 percent in 20 games. Prior to this year, Green’s shooting percentage had not dipped below 40 percent since his first season with the Spurs back in 2010 (36.8%). 讲得直白点，Green上季的三分是不寻常地烂。他33.2%的三分命中率只比他第一 年在骑士时好，他当年在骑士的20场比赛是27.3%。但是自从他2010到马刺之後 ，除了上一季他从来没有低於40%。 His overall ability to score just seemed to have diminished as the season went on. In 79 regular season games started, Green finished in single digits 53 times and went scoreless three times. As one would assume, his worst nights were on the road. In 40 road games, Green shot 30.4 percent from three-point range and 35.9 percent field goal percentage. 他的得分能力就像是突然消失了。在79场例行赛，他有53场只得个位数、还有三场 一分未得。你想得没错，他最烂的那几场都是出现在客场。而在40场客场里面，他 三分命中率只有30.4%，整体命中率35.9%。 In regards to shooting, his best month was in January where he shot nearly 50 percent from deep and averaged 7.1 points per game in 13 games. His worst shooting month came in March, where he went 25.8 percent from the three-point line, but was still able to average almost just as much as he did in January with 6.9 points. 只看投篮的话，他打得最好的是一月，13场比赛有接近50%的外线命中率和平均7.1 分。打得最差的是三月，三分命中率掉到25.8%，但得分是差不多的6.9分。 Now that the offensive bashing is over, we can speak to some positives about Green’s season. He was still able to add value to the Spurs’ lineup with his defensive efforts and posted a 98.8 defensive rating, which was ninth best in the NBA. Green led all guards this year in blocks with 64 total. One of those 64 blocks put Green in a space of his own as he became the first Spurs’ player to notch 700 three-pointers and 300 blocks. He is also one of seven players in league history to do that with one team. 炮完他的进攻之後，换讲一些他打得不错的地方吧。这季他在防守端的付出对马刺 战力是加分的，他98.8的defensive rating可以排在联盟第九，另外他有全後卫最 多的64记火锅。这64记火锅也让他成为马刺史上第一位达到700三分+300火锅的球员， 也是NBA历史上第七位能在单队累积到这成就的球员。 In one of the Spurs’ marquee victories of the season against the Golden State Warriors, Green’s block of a Stephen Curry three-point attempt was one of the most memorable highlights of the night. 在上季马刺战胜勇士的那场，Green搧掉Curry那记三分是那场最令人印象深刻的几 个play之一。 Green did create some momentum for himself in the playoffs that will hopefully carry over into the upcoming season. Through 10 post-season games, he shot 50 percent from beyond the arc and averaged 8.6 points per game. He was able to really find a rhythm against the Oklahoma City Thunder, knocking down five or more three-pointers in two separate games. Green在季後赛时有振作起来，也期待他能将这状态带到这季。在10场季後赛里， 他三分命中率可达50%，场均8.6分。他对上雷霆的时候找回了自己的节奏了，有 两场投进超过5记三分球。 As we look back on his year, it’s hard to tell what really happened to Green. It wasn’t the most productive year for Green from an offensive standpoint, but he didn’t completely fold though. He showed that his defensive effort would not be affected by his shooting performances. 回顾这季，真的搞不太懂上季Green身上发生了什麽事。进攻端来看Green打得很 不好，但又不是整个烂掉。他也证明了他进攻端的低潮不会影响他防守端的表现。 Of course everyone is susceptible to a bad year, but was that really what it was? Or did the transition of LaMarcus Aldridge into the offensive scheme disrupt some rhythm that Green had created for himself. Green may have just been feeling the pressure to produce in an ever so competitive Western Conference. Whatever it was, it cannot happen again.
