A 33-year-old sharpshooter who averaged 19.1 points and 20 points a game, respectively, in the last two seasons with Minnesota, Martin agreed to a buyout with the Timberwolves last week. On Friday, he confirmed to the Express-News in a text message that he had agreed to sign with the Spurs, who are in need of some offensive firepower off the bench. The Spurs will have to waive a player to make room for Martin.
