Sure, I don't know what else I would do. It's winter, plants don't grow. I am having a fight about books right now, I decided, at my age, there's so many things you wanna read, that you can't do it. So you just give up and read nothing, or you go into high gear and read anything that you can find? I just thought I'd throw that out there. Well if you've gone long, that's what your mind does, you start to think weird things, you gotta get back to it. I got some more if you want to hear. When you do do it, you realize that it's probably harder for the people that watch than the people who are in that battle. Without a doubt, your family, GM and their staff, you watch it and you don't have any control of anything. You just live and die with every play and call. So it's much easier sitting on the beach being in the middle of a fight. You find yourseld barking at the television, like fans do? No. I am a little more mature than that. I don't know. I haven't watch any film. (...silence.) I am not trying to a wise guy, I am just telling the truth. I can make something up if you want but... You have to make something up, what would it be? (laughters) ...He's even better looking than he was last year. Looks-wise or basketball-wise? Looks-wise. He's a good looking guy. I don't see a reason to watch film, When my team has a game that have zero turnovers, we shoot 60 percent, and the other team scores 40, that I'll start to worry about the other teams. But until that happens, I got enough to correct and teach on my team and that's how I spend my time. - 今天(伤癒复出)的 Rondo 和你上次看到他为 Celtics 打球最大的不同? 不晓得，别队的影片我没研究 我不是在耍嘴皮，我是讲实话 你想听的话我可以乱掰一通，但就真的没看 - 如果我一定要你掰，你会怎麽说? (笑声) …他看起来比去年还要帅 - 长相方面，还是篮球方面? 长相方面，他是个帅哥 (笑声) 我实在不知道为什麽要看别队的影片 如果我们能有一场球零失误，外加命中率60%，然後别队只拿40分的话 我才有那个闲情逸志管别队在干嘛 但那成真之前，我光修正、教育我们自己就忙不完了 这才是我会花时间做的事 So what do you do to try to get a feel for what the other team's gonna play? One of the assistents will tell me something. I believe whatever they tell me. If they say "we're gonna do this on the pick-and-roll," I'll say "okay," or "I don't know if I want to do that," and then you go play. I mean, have you see a secret play laterly? Or a now pick-and-roll defense? Or some new amazing cut to the offense that nobody can guard? It's the same stuff everyday. Who everexecutes best; whoever is the most competitive and does both on the consistent basis for more of the 48, that's the team that wins. How do you know to draft or not to draft? The question is good in the sense it's still subjective. It's not an empirical sort of situation. You can make a mistake, and we have some guys along the way that I did have to talk to, or whateve. And, our method is usually tough love. I don't think coddling someone, and blowing smoke at them really works, and beating them to death mentally doesn't really work. So to give them a clear picture of what's demanded andneeded is the first important thing. And then showing the care and concern after that; being there for them on the court, and caring about what they do off the court. Understanding who they are, on the planet what make them tick. You do all that, and if that didn't get through, get rid of them. - 关於如何选秀，如何教导新进或年轻球员适应马刺文化 这问得好，因为选秀很主观的，经验再多都可能出错 这一路下来，的确有几个我必须跟他「好好聊聊」之类的球员 我们通常是用恨铁不成钢(tough love)的方式 我不认为宠溺或吹捧真的行得通 但彻底挫折心智也不真的行得通 最重要的是把你的要求和需求跟他们讲清楚说明白 然後，你也必须表现出你真的在乎、爱护他们 球场上做球员的後盾，也关心他们在球场外的生活 了解球员的个人特质，找出激励他们的方法 这些都做到了，然後事情还是行不过的话，就让他离开 Coach Brad Stevens said yesterday that the Spurs way is the way he wants the Celtics to behavor. Does it mean anything to you that other teams' kind of looking up to you guys? It's both flattering embarrassing in a way. We've been so fortunate over the year with the people we have. As I said often, who wouldn't want to followed David by draft Tim Duncan and go from there. Your bigger job is to not to screw it up. And we haven't. We have not screw it up, that's the credit we deserved. But that good fortune, anybody would like to build a program that way. So I am flattered by what he said. We do try to do things in a certain way. The a lot of things that we do are pretty universal.
