Great pick for the Spurs. They get a guy who would've gone 10 to 15
picks higher had he been able to come to the NBA right away this year.
The Spurs have to wait a year, but when they get him, they'll get a
big man who can play in the middle for the next 10 years. Splitter
won't be a star, but he'll be a solid pro.

Splitter remains under contract to Tau Cerámica for at least one
more season.

He can buy his way out of the contract, but the buyout figure, which
the Spurs can only partially cover, is too large for Splitter to join
the Spurs next season, and he won't be with the team when training
camp begins in October.

买断金额对Splitter而言是太过庞大了，因此Splitter被评估应该不太可能在
下一季就加入马刺，且在10月马刺球队训练营开始时，Splitter也应该不会一

Splitter has intrigued NBA scouts since first submitting his name as
draft-eligible in 2004.
Splitter从2004年第一次缴交投入选秀同意书给NBA後，许多NBA球探都对他相
当有兴趣。
However, he withdrew his name then, and again in 2005 and '06. Many
NBA player personnel decision-makers had him projected as a lottery
pick those last two years before he withdrew his name.

Splitter last season averaged 11.2 points per game, on 61.3 percent
shooting, in 28 games with Tau Cerámica in the Spanish League and
10.7 points per game, on 58 percent shooting, and 6.0 rebounds in 20
games with Tau Cerámica in Euroleague competition.
上一赛季还在西班牙联盟Tau Cerámica母队时，Splitter以平均61.3%的命中
率在28场比赛内缴出平均11.2分的成绩，并在欧洲联盟会赛时，一样在20场比
赛中以平均58%的命中率缴出10.7分及6.0篮板的成绩。
A member of the Brazilian National Team, Splitter was the youngest
player in the 2002 FIBA World Championships in Indianapolis, playing
at age 17.
Splitter目前是巴西国家队成员，并且在2002年FUBA世界锦标赛中，便以17岁
的年纪代表巴西队出赛，也是该届比赛最年轻的球员。
