Ferrero makes early exit in Metz

Second seed Juan Carlos Ferrero was an early casualty at the Open de
Moselle in Metz on Tuesday as he went down to unseeded Frenchman Julien
Benneteau.
Former world number one Ferrero was edged out in a final set tie-break
as Benneteau won 6-4 1-6 7-6 (9-7).
Fifth seed and local favourite Richard Gasquet easily beat Sergiy
Stakhovsky of Ukraine 6-3 6-1.
And third seed Novak Djokovic of Serbia and Montenegro saw off Frenchman
Nicolas Mahut 6-2 6-3.
