Moya Saves 3 M.P. in Miami
Saturday TV: Tennis Masters Cup Uncovered II: Facing Federer. ESPN Classic,
12 noon, E.S.T.
Carlos Moya saved three match points against wildcard James Blake to book a
spot in the third round at the NASDAQ-100 Open in Miami. Moya, the No. 5 seed
and 2003 runner-up, next plays No. 25 seed Thomas Johansson, who defeated
Greg Rusedski 6-3, 6-4. Also through to the third round were Spaniards Juan
Carlos Ferrero, Tommy Robredo and Fernando Verdasco who was up 7-6(9) 4-3
before Andy Roddick was forced to retire.
