Moya captured his first title on Spanish soil. Moya, the No. 2 seed who reached the final in Barcelona two years ago before losing to countryman Juan Carlos Ferrero in a 4-hour marathon, claimed his first ATP title on home soil and his second of the season having won in Buenos Aires on clay in February.
