标题[问题] 关於Mead的自我理论

各位前辈高人您好:
小弟在准备国家考试，读到社会学有以下疑问，希望各位可不吝指教。
关於Mead的自我发展理论
我在补习班的课本与网路上看到的大都为以下论述:
米德（Mead 1934，1964a）认为，自我发展的定义经历了三个不同的阶段： 预备阶段、
戏剧阶段、游戏阶段。

但本人自行上网GOOGLE "Mead self consciousness"
得到的资料为以下论述:
Mead’s account of the social emergence of the self is developed further
through an elucidation of three forms of inter-subjective activity: language,
play, and the game.

於英文资料中有标示大量引用自Mead的 Mind, self, and society一书
故我较倾向相信此说法
但苦恼的是这篇文章太难了解
且手上两本补习班资料都采用第一种说法
让我感到非常疑惑
请问为什麽会有这个现象呢?
