Can you bring yourself to feel anything but a kind of shrugging acceptance of Iverson's body of work, both as a 76er and since being traded? Or maybe we're just hard-wired to lose our cool when it comes to sports. That's how sharp the divide was here. At the moment, the Sixers are in the Eastern Conference playoff field. To appease (or, if you prefer, get the most out of) Iverson while he was here, the Sixers bent themselves into every possible shape. Once attendance began to slip, so did the corporate commitment to No. 3. When Iverson behaved precisely as he had for all his previous years here, it suddenly was considered unacceptable, and he was traded. 在 Compast Nation(?) 开场时，AI 彷佛就像以前在自家主场出场时一样，然而你 马上理性的发现，他已经穿着别的队服这件难以接受的事。（这整段不太会翻..） Ironically, the Wachovia Center probably will be full tonight - the I-95 mess notwithstanding - for two reasons. 尽管如此，今天七六人主场应该是会爆满的。原因有两个。 One, the people who got tired of watching Iverson play hard while the Sixers lost will want to see him one more time. 第一，那些已经厌倦了 AI 在场上拼命但仍然输球的人，仍然想再见到 AI 一次。 Two, the team he left behind is playing hard and starting to win. These Sixers are a lot easier to like and a lot more boring than the teams that were built around Iverson. This group reflects its head coach, Maurice Cheeks, and its veteran point guard, Andre Miller, in the way it approaches the game. It couldn't be less like the Iverson teams if everyone wore white shorts and started playing cricket. （这段整个不会翻）无可否认的，现在的七六人看起来比当时围绕着 AI 的七六人 无聊的多。这个团队的表现正犹如教练Mo Cheeks和老牌控卫Andre Miller的风格一般： 除非现在叫这些人开始打板球，不然不会有比现在的七六人，更不像 AI 当时带领的 七六人。 But the current Sixers are a lot less interesting, too. There is no soap opera around the team, no central figure for everyone to love or hate. There is no Allen Iverson. 现在的七六人也少了很多话题：没有适合这队的肥皂剧、没有能让人喜爱或讨厌的地方。 这里没有 Allen Iverson。（虽然这作者整篇呛AI，看到这行还是好难过想哭阿…） ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 我个人牢骚的部分都删掉了，想看的可以到金块板看但也没什麽好看的… 两队对上了就更清楚的知道我这人是 AI > Sixers， (在AI待的球队遇到Sixers以外,应该说还是希望Sixers有80胜2败的战绩 XD) 来这板已经有点愧疚了 v_v" 不过从球星出发或从球队出发就当作 不同的人有不同的欣赏角度去看运动吧 另外 Compast Nation 已经有板友帮忙解释 :p 倒数第二段相当非常不确定翻的有无错误，整个乱来 说不定语意还和作者相反 (我都一段段翻前後很少注意连接,以後改进) 有请板友尽量纠正 XD --
