The coaches and players felt a true loss when Kyle Korver was traded to the Utah Jazz for Gordan Giricek and a future first round pick. It’s not stretching things to say that Korver was among the most well-liked and respected athletes in Philadelphia, by his teammates and the fans. 七六人全队上下都知道，NBA是一门生意，但今日在玫瑰花园（拓荒者 主场）练习时，现场气氛有些沈闷。背後的原因很清楚。 Kyle Korver即将被交易到犹他爵士，换来Gordan Giricek和一枚未来 的首轮选秀权。 在七六人的球迷和球员心目中，Korver是费城最受欢迎和尊敬的运动 员之一，这样的说法绝不夸大。 And Korver is leaving the way he came – with plenty of class. In a phone interview yesterday, Korver said he wasn’t totally shocked, but he was surprised to be traded. And he said what he will miss the most are his teammates and the fans of Philadelphia. “We were a tight-knit team,” Korver said. "You couldn't ask for a better group of teammates." Korver reflected on the apprehension he felt when he first came to Philadelphia five years ago. And he knows that playing in Utah could be a benefit to his career. “They have a legendary coach (Jerry Sloan), a top go-to player down low (Carlos Boozer) and one of the best point guards (Deron Williams),” Korver said. “I hope I fit into that system.” Korver will surely fit because one thing Sloan does is get his players open looks. And even though Korver had been inconsistent this season from the perimeter, his ability to stretch a defense with his shooting can't be minimized. He can shoot with the best of them, and few players were better teammates. “He’s a good person, a great teammate, in general somebody you want as a teammate,” Andre Iguodala said.
