Yet, as Cheeks said, it was the team’s defense that did them in more often than not. The team is currently ranked 25th in the NBA in scoring defense, giving up 101.5 points per game. The Sixers defensive shortcomings are on the mind of King, and will play a large role in determining what steps he takes this summer to improve the team.
