There are many different types of intelligence. There is creative intelligence, social intelligence, and there are people who are really great at understanding the way an engine works. It takes all kinds of people to make the world go around, and we all have something to offer. Your first impression of someone new might not be all that impressive, but there may be a lot more to this individual. If you are looking for a certain trait - such as intelligence, or creativity, or a talent, for example - then don't let that first impression limit you.
