When a show of affection is not possible - such as when you are restricted from seeing someone in person, or you are separated by a great distance - then a show of attention can fill that void for a while. If there is someone you have a strong need to connect with, and vice versa, use your creativity to figure out a way to show how much you care. You may be feeling a deep need now for a meaningful connection with someone in your life. Do whatever it takes to achieve that - whether it's a long, late-night conversation or anything else.
