Check Motel 6 or Days Inn in the city, but my search engine Side Step says
there is one hotel called Motel Harris is $39 per night, but it is in Oakland,
15 miles away from the city. The second cheapest is Verona Hotel, $50 per
night, in Union Square down San Francisco.
