However, I think it is optimism that plays an essential role for successful persons. I have not seen any outstanding person who is in pessimism and diffidence. Optimism really makes significant influences that differentiate people’s future. First of all, optimistic persons will consider difficulties as nothing. They will not hesitate or even retreat in front of problems. For the unfamiliarity, they think they can be proficient after repetitive practices. For the obstacles, they believe there must be a solution to be found. Under such thoughts, they are motivated to try again and again. Secondly, those optimists turn a blind eye to gossiping. Take me for example: I am very sensitive to others’ evaluation of me. If anyone speaks ill of me, I will be very frustrated and in no mood to work. Nevertheless, an optimistic person thinks the defamation is ignorable and boring, which can be forgot right after hearing. Their work will not be affected. Last but not least, this attitude also reflects on the moment that they fail. Optimists may be in discouragement for a period of time but brace up soon. They view the adage as their motto: “If you shed tears when you miss the sun, you also miss the stars.” The time they waste in crying and depression is far less than those pessimists.
